Hi, myself and a group of girls have just reserved the Bentley Hotel, Manhattan for 6 nights in March. We chose this hotel mainly for the price. I am aware from the location map that it is overlooking the east river which may be a bit out of the way for us. The reviews on tripadviser were pretty daunting...Can someone please advise me how good/bad this hotel is? Any nice diners nearby? Have we made a bad decision? All information appreciated greatly...

I've never even heard of that hotel, so I can't comment on anything except the location, which is definitely out of the way--it's a hike to the nearest subway station. Probably wouldn't be a location I'd recommend to visitors, simply because it's not terribly convenient...do you have specific plans while you're here?
