I'm talking genuine designers such as Armani not knock offs! Although I am after any genuine bargains. Would a large department store be the best option and if so which one?

The last watch I bought for him was a Breitling and I paid just over $1400 for it. Tourneau financed it interest free for a year so they made it quite affordable. Yes, they do sell the very best and expensive but they also carry nice designer pieces at reasonable prices, in my opinion. And, the service is first rate. Good luck.

For good watches (Breitling etc.) try Kenjo - two outlet, 40 Wall St and a shop up on 50 something street just off 5th Ave

Just FYI: Armani and Gucci watches are entirely outsourced to other companies, so it's not like there's a Gucci watch-making factory in Italy. Companies like Breitling, Omega, Tag Heuer, etc. are the "genuine designers."
