Is there anything worth doing on the Upper West side?

This will make my 5th visit to the city and every time we seem to neglect the upper west side. Is there anything to do there or is it just homes? Thank you!

There are many museums on the UWS, most famous of which is the Museum of Natural History. Made famous in many movies for its dinosaur bones/ exhibits. There is also a terrific planetarium there.

Other than that...not really. There are other museums, but much more specific in terms of content.
Upper West Side is a great area where you can find lots of beautiful streets and buildings, excellent restaurants and movie theaters. I guess the previous poster thinks that going to museums is what it means "to do anything"

Just some of the attractions:
1) Lincoln Center
2) Central Park West and Central park
3) Broadway between 70s and 90s streets and Amsterdam and Columbus Ave - restaurants, buildings, etc.
yes...but what is there to do in central park? anything specific or just walk around and look at nature? thanks!
Are you kidding? There is always something to look at in Central Park, it just depends on what time of year you are there.
If you like riding horses or just checking out the oldest continously run riding stables in the country, Claremont Riding Acadamy @ 175 West 89th
