Is Trinity Church open for visitors to go in and look around? I am talking about the church near Ground Zero. It looks beautiful from the outside and I would love to see the outside.

You can go into Trinity Church and you should also visit the graveyard that has famous Americans buried there and dates to the 1700s. Also visit St. Pauls a few blocks north (where the church is older than Trinity--since Trinity burned down once) and has George Washington's pew and memorial for WTC.

St Pauls is the one nearest Ground Zero and is very much worth the visit.

(Both churches are in the same parish.)

If you want the church across the street from ground zero, it's St. Paul's.
It has tons of memorial's inside along with video footage of 9/11 events.

Trinity church is a sister church, thats down below further. Both are under the same parish. I toured both churches on my June 205 first time NYC trip to attend Billy Graham's crusade in Queens.

Both of them are well worth stopping by for touring and pictures. Trinity is a magnificent church, and also the oldest still used church in NYC.
