Is it possible to get tickets for the Circle Line 2 or 3-hour cruise around Manhattan during the weekend by just going to the pier half an hour before the cruise? How long is the queue?

I would also appreciate any other ideas for daytime entertainment for a visitor who is not able to walk long distances or stairs.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how long it takes on weekends but I would arrive at the pier around an hour before the cruise, they start lining up to board around half an hour before on weeekdays.

Thanks Marea! We went yesterday (weekend, tourist season etc) about an hour before the cruise and there was already a looong line of people waiting to board but in the end it was not too bad as there are seats for everyone. We were even lucky enough to get seats on the left side of the boat.
