A play in Central Park

Hi everyone,

My mother and I and a couple of our friends are coming to NY this week for a few days. One of our friends had read in our Atlanta newspaper about a free play going on in Central Park. I think it had won a Tony award when it was on Broadway at one time. It sounds like something fun to do but wanted a New Yorker's opinion...is it worth going to see? Thanks for your help.

The Public Theater produces the free Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte Theater. These are all new productions. They're very popular, and you've got to invest some time waiting on line to get your free tickets.
