Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Before we went to war, President Bush said the main reason we were going to war was because Saddam had WMDs - biological, chemical, and/or nuclear weapons. He turned out to be wrong. Since then he has downplayed his earlier statements and pretended that wasn't his original rationale for us going to war.
