I blew a ton of money at El Rio Grande on 52nd the other night, and by night's end was bankrupt. Having just moved here from Boston, I'm just dumbfounded by the prices for a simple beer. A Bud Light and a Stoli Razz/7Up for $11? ABSURD. All I want's a beer for a couple bucks or a pitcher for under 10. You guys have any spots that fit those constraints and aren't total dives?

Cheapest bar I know is the Grassroots on St. Mark's Place. I think they still have $2-3 beers.
