I was wondering if there are any companies or people who can be hired as witnesses.
We are eloping in May 23 and on the wedding ceremony paperwork it asks for witness ID so we need to know who it will be 3 weekd before. We were under the assumption we could ask someone in city hall but now this doesn't look likely.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)

Hello I was wondering what the points are (if any) associated with the infraction violation 4-12 (P) (2)
This would include any points that NYS may give on my license in addition to any points that an insurance company may include to my record.

There was a reasonable explanation for this however the officer wrote me the ticket tonight.

Hello!! I visited New York on a trip with some friends a few years back. I’m a secluded kinda gal, so I was by myself most of the time that we weren’t on the tour bus. But I got engaged this year! I would absolutely love to spend next Christmas in New York pending Covid and how the world looks by this time next year. I’m just looking for some pointers. Is the New York pass worth it, because it sounds like it is! Can you go, like, anywhere you need to go by subway? And what are some of the beet hotels or air bnbs? Thank you!

Alright someone help me out here. Wanna come to NY this summer and buy some mid rare shoes. I’m from a small town in Canada so we get like nothing limited edition here. I would like a place where I can get a better deal for like 10 pairs ish. Maybe more maybe less. Or I was thinking coming like the day of a shoe drop that’s like available in select stores and a store in NY being one of them so I could cop a pair of those “what ever they are” and then hit up a store for a few more pairs where ever. When entering NYC thru the Lincoln Tunnel, which entrance tunnel puts me in the best position to get onto Dyer Street? I always seem to get in the wrong lane and have to cross over or go around. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hello, so last minute decision!! We are coming to New York tomorrow and decided after getting engaged there 9 years ago we are getting married at city hall.. so dress came today but unfortunately been working all day just tried it on and I need a underskirt 🙈🙈🙈 we can I get one and also shoes? Not too expensive tho! Also will I get a witness easily enough?

Hi,

I am visiting this December and would love to see a basketball game. Unfortunately the only game is on the night I leave... the game starts at 17.00 and my flight is at 22.30. I would need to go back to my hotel in Midtown from Maddison Square to collect my bags. Would it be possible to watch the whole game, head back to my hotel and to JFK in time for my flight back to London? Ideally would need to be at JFK FOR 20.30.

Where is the best place to park in Manhattan for a long period of time at the cheapest rate possible?
What other parking options are convenient?
Is there free or cheap parking at nearby subway or bus stations that you can park your car at for the day and return to in the evening?
Which places should be avoided for parking in regards to tickets, etc?

Hello.

I used this forum with a few enquiries when I last organised a school trip to New York in 2015 from here in the UK so I am hoping for help again as it was so useful.

This time, we have tickets for a Brooklyn Nets game in the evening. For ease of returning to the hostel, it would be best for us to get the C train from Lafayette it is seems to be straightforward enough a walk. So my question is does this decision make sense with thirty 16-18 year olds or should we stick to the main terminal by the Barclays Center and change later up the line?

I am a smaller, single, 28 year old female from south Alabama. I will be potentially traveling and touring the city alone. This is my first flight and also my first vacation by myself. My friends and family are recommending that I do not travel alone, especially to a place that I have never been and for safety concerns.
However, it has always been my dream to see the city and I am finally able to do so, it just so happens to be by myself. I am curious as to know what ya'll's thoughts and opinions are on this...
Is it safe for me to tour the city alone, even at night? What are the actual chances of me getting lost? etc.,
