Finally I'm coming to NYC!!
Together with my girlfriend ,my neighbors and their daughter.
We come from Amsterdam Holland, and for me and my girl it's our first trip to the US.
One of my questions is where to eat the best spare-ribs in town!
Or where you can eat the best tender steak in town..a place with a great atmosphere must be there in your great town..
Thanks for now and see you May 1st till May 9th.......

This is going to sound weird, but my favorite place for BBQ ribs is St. Andrews restaurant on W. 44th St. -- it's a Scottish place, and just down the block from the famous Virgil's BBQ!!! Now, I do love Virgil's pulled pork sandwich, but the ribs at St. Andrews are outstanding.
Daisy May's (or is it Daisy Mae's?) gets good reviews, but I haven't had their ribs. Dallas BBQ has wonderful ribs too.
My favorite for steak is Del Frisco's, but, like all the big steakhouses, it's very expensive. If you like steak and you love garlic, try the Porterhouse at Carmine's -- it's positively delicious, and the size of an aircraft carrier!
Check menupages.com for reviews and sample menus.

I had the yummiest barbeque last night at John Brown's in Long Island City, so if you're looking for ribs, go there. Also brisket, pulled pork, etc. All totally delicious.
