I've called the Sunny's Salon in Raleigh to inquire if they have hair stylist that are experienced in doing African American textured hair that is thick and very curly and the person at the other end of the telephone is very rude, short and curt in manner....I would never recommend this salon....

I do my hair at Tropical Unisex on 90 Stanton Street, New York for more then 12 years, ask for Rissol, she will take great care of you. They are all dominican in there.

Are you speaking of Sunny Salon in Raleigh,NC. If so I went there and it was a little different from where I came from (Philly).Actually the prices were a little higher also. They woman I dealt with rolled me up and blew me out but never curl it. It was empty in the salon when I went so I didn't know if they curl hair or not. Also she speak very little english. Do you know of any other Dominican Salons in Raleigh, NC. If so please let me know?

It's Sunny salon on Capital blvd next to Wec Warehouse. I just found out about another stylist name Morena at Diva's Salon on Computer Drive in Raleigh. I have the number for Morena's 919-232-5399. If you have found somewhere else that's good please e-mail me. I just moved to Raleigh, NC from Philly.
