Miligree Jewelers
69 W. 47th St.

someone very very very nice just got me some diamond studs here and they appraised for quite a bit more than that nice person paid, so this place is alright it seems!

I've been to this appraiser twice, also good and reasonable prices:

Bruce Fabrikant is the few of the best people to deal with. I bought 4ct D IF and a custom ring his jeweler Ekstra Design had made me in a week time from a sketch this jeweler is far one of the "best craftsman" I ever delt with the work was so unbelievable down to the smallest detail ,even better then Tiffany ring I saw.
Check out his work www.ektradesign.com

Lily and Felix at Miligree Jewelry are crooks. I put deposit on Diamond stone. Decided not to use them and they wont return deposit. I also have friend who bought ring and Diamond came loose. I would say not very good work. I would say do not do business if you are looking for good product or people.

When searching for a jeweler, your top priority is to look for a well established jeweler with a great reputation that's been in the business for many years. DeBeers, Tiffany and Cartier are superb choices, but I agree with posters above, if you are looking for high quality fine diamond jewelry at a fraction of the price from other big names then the Diamond District on 47th st is a great place to go. I highly recommend Firenze Jewels.

My boyfriend and I just came back from our first trip shopping in the diamond district. We educated ourselves very well before shopping there. Has anyone had any experience with Salvatore & Company? They gave us a great price quote on a tacori design. They claim it can be made exactly as the tacori ring we love. I'd appreciate any feedback you may have about this establishment. Thanks!

Artdecodiamonds.com located at 36 west 47 street is a wonderful place to buy GIA certificate diamond rings, art deco wedding bands and antique engagement rings!

I've shopped in the Diamond District on various occasions. Yes Firenze Jewels is a nice jeweler. This is where I bought my wife's engagement ring and wedding band, no complaints here. I would check reviews for various jewelers in this area and if you have any friends or relatives that live in New York, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go visit with them. As far as public transportation goes, I believe the F, D, B and M subway lines should drop you off right on this block. You would get off on 47th St Rockafeller Center.

I have dealt with Bruce Fabrikant on several occasions and I've always found him to be honest and forthcoming.
