I also have an electric United Clock Corp. clock, model #570, it is a 50th anniversary edition. Has a gold-copper look with red garnets or rubys at the 12, 3 and 9 positions. The tag is still on the cord, works well. I can't find any info on this model or worth. If you have any idea or where to look, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I have an electric United clock called The Pirates. It has 2 pirates and a captain on the ship. It is a brass clock (not solid). The captain is standing on one side of the ship and at his feet a pirate is kneeling down to a treasure box and the other pirate is standing at the other end of the ship, the sail of the ship comes up in the middle of the captain and the standing pirate and the clock in in the middle of the sail. Across the ship front it has THE PIRATES written on it.By the captain and the standing pirate there are light sockets. On the back of the clock the markings are PAT PEN on one side and JOE on the other side. There is another marking under PAT PEN but without cleaning it I can not make it out. I don't know what to clean it with so I am afraid to clean it without knowing. If anyone can help me find some info about this clock I would appreciate your help.

Hi, I just received my father's (deceased) grandmother's (deceased) United Clock Corp - Model #455 from my mother. I remember my father getting this clock back in the early 70's........vaguely, recall it working too. Would like to get it refurbished and working here in Chicago. Is there any history you can provide me about this antique?
Much Appreciation & Thanks.

Hello,
I have a " FDR The Man Of The Hour" mantel clock. It was manufactured by United Clock Corp. of Brooklyn New York. The date is 1934 and the patent #is 01.140. Can you give me some idea of the value or where I can find out more information? I did find some information on the Cornell University Library website.
Thanks,
Terry
