It is 66 Perry, it's about one block from magnolia bakery

66 Perry Street is the actual stoop seen in the show but the ficticious address is on 72nd st

Ok so i am moving to new york and i really want to live in a fun area and carrie is my inspiration. Are the is it nice on the east side? i dont have alarge budget. if youlive in nyc, what do you suggest i do? i need an affordable apartment that is close to restaurants and shops. please help!!

I really enjoyed reading all that's been posted here. I just watch a repeat of SATC. I keep saying I'm going to go to NY to take the tour but with all the great information here, I just may find my way to the places on my own.

If anyone has anything new to add, please e-mail me! I've done a few searches looking for photo's of where Carrie lived and the bakery but didn't find any. Thanks to all of you for sharing.
