I absolutely LOVE the picture Carrie has sitting on the table right next to her front door, with the purse and the gloves - does anybody have any idea where I can buy it??

The address may or may not be real (I unsuccessfully tries to google earth it and see a street view), but it REALLY is the address she gives the City Comptroller in the episode where she judges the hot fireman contest. He asks her her address because he wants her to register to vote. She says upon his request "well, officially it's 245 E. 73rd Street". Remember how eventually after they start dating he asks her to pee on him! GROSS!

Where do Carrie and her buds generally shop in the show? I know they had been to a thrift store in one of the episodes...Any idea which one?

Wondering if anyone could guide me?! going to nyc for my 1st time with my 3 gfs. we are all 21 and want to know the hotest spots to hit in new york. i don't know much about nyc...so what is the best part to stay in that is central to everything? ie. good shopping, clubs, and culture.

any advice on recommended hotels, bars, restaurants, any cultural experiences or must do's in nyc. we have 4 days!!!

ahhhh thank u Michael and day!!! i was reading all of these and shaking my head!!! i am obsessed with this show and yes they do say an address on e73rd street but i walked past there months ago when i knew exactly what the address is and it DOES NOT exist(i live around the corner). the other two are right, the stoop they filmed on is on Perry street, when you are in front you- if you are a major fan- you can tell its the same stoop. and yes she does live on Charles.

I just saw an episode where she gives 245 E 73d street as her address. If you Google Map it there are no steps like hers. As a poster mentioned earlier, they would use a fake address so as not to harass the people who actually live there. I found this link by asking actual location of CB apt. Cheers!

I went this passed weekend for the movie premiere and yes the address is 66 Perry Street. It has a chain so you can't go up the stairs

Knew that was coming...it was only a matter of time before the owners got annoyed by the throngs of tourists on their steps and cut off access.
