everyone goes on about how great that book is, Motherless Brooklyn. I thought it was very mediocre. I seem to be the only one, though.

I read Catcher in the Rye as a compulsory text in High School about 30 years ago and hated it and I started Bonfire of the Vanities about 10 years ago and couldn't get into it. I think I might go back and try them again.

I will definitely try again. Once I get over to NY I will have more time and may be able to concentrate better. My life in Sydney is too hectic. It sounds crazy that I'm moving to New York to have a more relaxed lifestyle doesn't it?

Motherless Brooklyn was written by Jonathan Lethem. a good book with great comparitives.
